About the Artwork
Dozens of thin, branching trunks run the full width of the panorama, close together like a grove seen through fog. Their crowns merge into one continuous band of gold-toned leaves that scatter loosely at the top edge and drift down among the trunks. The background shifts from dark teal above to a soft, misty blue-gray near the ground, which makes the gold canopy stand out. The long horizontal format suits spaces above sofas, beds, and consoles.
